Invalid Port Given

I had been able to view/edit my files on the server prior to installing Windows 8. I am unable to do so now. Instead the following error message is returned: "---------------------------
Syntax error in command line
---------------------------
Invalid port given. The port has to be a value from 1 to 65535.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Does anyone know how to fix this?
