Sorting or filtering remote server

Hi, I've already searched for this, but found nothing. Is it possible to either do a multi-level sort on the remote folder (last modified, and then filename) or filter files by last modified (i.e.: last modified > 01/14/2013) and then sort the filtered files by filename?

It would be very helpful if this was possible.
