Trying to download from: ftp://filestation.lanex.com - Using my desktop computer (Win 7). I believe it has something to do with my configuration since I CAN access and download from my Laptop - also running the same version of Win 7. Both are on the same network - laptop is wireless and desktop is wired.
When I try to access from desktop, it connects to the server but when I click on the folder - it hangs and I get the "failed to retrieve directory listing". On my laptop, I can access and download via Filezilla or any of the browsers... however, on my desktop, I have the same problem using the browsers as I do with Filezilla.
Since I'm using the same router (laptop is wireless) - desktop is wired - and my laptop works, I don't think it's the router - but I have no idea. I've also tried turning off my firewall and virus software, to no avail.
I've spent several hours trying to find out where the configuration information is... I could compare it to my laptop but I cannot find where to configure.
* I tried running www.ftptest.net using filestation.lanex.com as the host but received the following message:
Error: Script died
Error: Script died. This is a problem with the test script and not your server.
