Failed to retrieve directory listing

I have version 3.6.0.2 and when for some reason when I try to connect now I get this. It was working fine last week, nothing has changed and now I get the error Failed to retrieve directory listing. I had someone test it on another network and they could get in just fine but I do not know what to do since we have not changed anything.
