I've read of this problem on the forum but not found any way to fix it. Recently Filezilla began failing to overwrite files on my server at hostgator. Default file exists action is set to Overwrite file for both upload and down. No errors are reported in filezilla that I can see, but the old file remains on the server.
Now here is the bizarre part. Filezilla can delete the old file on the server no problem. A check with a browser confirms that the file is not there. Then when I try to transfer the new file - the old file reappears on the server!
If I use another means of transferring the new file to the server the old file is overwritten as it should be. But what is happening with filezilla?
I'm using Version: 3.6.0.2
I've attached a copy of my screen log from my last attempt to overwrite files.
I appreciate any help figuring out what is going on.
