Request to be able to copy with the same device

Hello,

I've discovered your product and I like it because it's quick and convenient :P .

In my private network, I have a PC, a linux satellite receiver with an internal hard disk and the adsl box. I want to save the movies of the receiver (2 TB) to an external disk connected with an esata cable. I've red on the forum it isn't possible to copy files from the local PC to the local PC or from a distant device to a distant device (in my case, from the internal hard disk to the external hard disk).

However I can do it with a manual transfer. It isn't convenient because there are a lot of things to do and you can do it for a single file  .

I can install the external disk in the PC but Windows can't reach ext4 formatted hard disk and my receiver crash if I connect a NTFS formatted device. Even if I can solve this problem with a latest version of OpenPli, I can only copy a single file with the commands of the receiver :? .

I can copy the files in several times from the receiver to the PC (the PC have a very small disk), then from the PC to the external receiver disk but it will be very very long. It will already take several days to copy between 2 hard disks  .

Why isn't possible to copy from a distant device to a distant device or from local PC to local PC? Is it impossible or the staff doesn't wish to work on these possibilities?

Thank you for your response :) .
Jean-Louis
