I'm using Filezilla here on a client's mac, usually I am a windows user, so I can't say much about the system.
However, I have discovered a dangerous situation on this machine:
When I start draging a file in the local folders window but release the mouse button as long as it has still the crossed out circle indicating that no operation is possible (like for example dragging the only file in an otherwise empty folder for a few pixels in the empty folder before releasing the button), the file vanishes. It is not to be found in the recycle bin (however that might have to do with that local folder being on some kind of mounted drive), there is no dialogue asking for confirmation and there is no way to undo it. The file is simply gone.
Maybe it can be found somewhere in the innards of the mac file system, but as I said, I'm not used to a mac.
Any solutions or explanations for this?
