I see. Proper handling of double-quotes is explained on page 63 of RFC 959.

Your website is horrible, the HTML is all broken. You could have used http://validator.w3.org/ to verify it.

Are there any third-party DLLs loaded into the address space of FileZilla? If so, which?

I see, that makes sense. But does Command-ArrowDown even exist on PC?

Re: FileZilla 3.6 crashes frequently when exit
Could you give the APPCRASH message (Application Event Log)? Especially the ''Faulting module'' line is interesting; very often it is not even FileZilla causing the crash, but actually a third-party hooked DLL (like some nVidia drivers with hybrid graphics, for example).

Re: Mac: Dangerous interpretation of shortcut
It does not exist directly, but in a translated form (modifier keys mostly differ only in names).

Well, did you get a transfer error?
Also make sure you do not transfer the file as ASCII (use Binary/Image data type).

FileZilla keeps restarting but other programs work perfectly
I've been searching these forums for an answer but not found anything that quite matches my problem.
Since a bit more than a month ago…
My first thoughts (thanks to other people) were the computer, the router and the firewall. However, I do not have this problem when I use FTP with other programs, including the command line (pftp) and the file browser (Nautilus). In those cases, the transfer works quickly and perfectly.
This means that FileZilla has the problem. I have tried resetting FileZilla's settings to default, but still I have the problem. I also tried turning off the firewall, but that made no difference.
What ideas do you have to fix this, please? I love FileZilla and would prefer to continue using it, but I cannot while it has this problem.
Notes:
Thank you.
Since a bit more than a month ago…
- When I transfer a file using FileZilla, it times out after a certain number of bytes. The precise number depends on the remote server. I use two servers: one times out after 180,224 bytes, and the other after 262,144 bytes.
- The time before timeout depends on Settings > Connection > Timout. If I set this to (say) 5 seconds, the file stops after 180,224 bytes and waits approximately 5 seconds before it times out and FileZilla restarts. If I set this to 60 seconds, again the file stops after 180,224 bytes and waits approximately 60 seconds before trying again. (In the attached logs, the setting was 5 seconds.)
- Usually, FileZilla restarts the file without a problem, but it means that a large file takes hours instead of minutes to transfer. Sometimes, FileZilla eventually fails and I have to restart (this happened after just two timeouts in the attached logs).

Hey
unfortunately the denotations are in German, but the order should be the same as in english, shouldn't it?
"Fehler" means "fault", maybe that's enough for you to know?

Stuck at passive mode
Ok guys, Im very new to all of this, sorry in advanced.
I am running a FileZilla Server that I am trying to connect to via the internet. Essentially I have an external HDD i want to be able to access anywhere.
Though using the client and the server on the same machine, I can connect just fine. Even another computer on the same network, I can connect. But when I go off the network, I get stuck at the infamous passive mode. I have tried using the online ftp tester with no luck. Ill post some relevant SS, please help if you can. Note, Windows Firewall is completely disabled:

How to configure the Filezilla client to use a certificate?
I have to pull data down from a supplier once per month. This is done using Filezilla client on a Windows box connecting to the supplier's FTP server (running PureFTP). The connection involves a username and password, and is set to use FTPES. I understand that means that as well as the user and pass, it also uses a certificate on connection.
On connection, this appears in the log window:
Command: AUTH TLS
Response: 234 AUTH TLS OK.
Status: Initializing TLS...
Status: Verifying certificate...
Command: USER <our-username>
Status: TLS/SSL connection established.
However, I can't see anywhere in the Site Manager or the XML that originally set the connection up that specifies what certificate to use.
Our supplier have indicated that the current certificate expires in October, and they have made a new one available, valid to 2015, to run in parallel for the next few months. So obviously I have to somehow tell FileZilla to use the new one instead of the old. There is currently a "LIVE CERTIFICATE" file on the desktop of the machine that does the connecting (messy, I hate leaving stuff on the desktop, prefer keeping stuff neatly in directories, but I didn't set this system up), which is I think what is in use.
Where is the setting to tell the client which certificate to use? I've tried Googling but all the results which come up appear to refer to installing certificates on the FileZilla server, not the client.
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Stuck at command MLSD
I have a FileZilla server running at home (on XP) so I can access some of the files there from work/school. (No really?)
I can connect just fine through the terminal (mac/linux or windows), but when I try to connect via a client (even FileZilla) I get stuck at the MLSD command. I've learned that it's essentially the "list" command for MLSD type servers.
And yes, I can receive files using terminal.
All of my ports are forwarded just fine, I've disabled windows firewall for the time being (until I figure it out.). I've looked through my router's settings for anything related to protocol inspection or deep packet inspection and haven't found anything. I have a Netgear N750 router.
What could be wrong? I've NEVER had this much trouble setting up an FTP server before.

Re: Stuck at command MLSD
Uh.... it uh... magically fixed itself.
When I was testing everything I had a HUGE range of ports open for testing. Pretty much everything from about 49XXX to 6XXXX. And I was forwarding TCP and UDP. I changed the range to be much smaller and switched it to TCP only and everything works now?
Hooray for small technological miracles.

Remote site question (extreme beginner)
Hello. I'm not sure how to best describe my question, so I've included a screenshot. This is my first experience with site building and fillezilla, and at some point I (somehow) made an extra 'www' sub-directory. I'm concerned that having everything within this extra folder will cause problems, particularly regarding seo. Is this something to be worried about? Can someone tell me how to fix it? Thank you very much in advance

Re: Stuck at passive mode
Failure to receive the reply to PASV is definitely caused by a broken firewall or NAT router actively sabotaging the connection.
