You only need Network Configuration.

Running the server setup should be self-explaining. Then you need to
1. define a range of ports to be used for Passive mode. Number required depends on traffic, but more=better, minimum recommended: 100. Done in the ''Passive mode settings'' page in the server.
2. IPv4 only: tell the server your external IPv4 address, or instruct it to fetch it by itself. Done on the same page as 1.
3. Open all involved ports in the firewall.
4. Forward all involved ports in your router.
5. Now create your FTP user accounts and assign shares. The Home directory must be physical, and you need to define Aliases in the /alias form for every further share that's not part of the Home dir's physical directory tree.
6. Test the server at http://ftptest.net.
