i am able to connect to hosting account using the quick-connect option by providing the server,username,password,portbut not able to create and then the connect through site manager setting

How about just clicking (directory list) or double-clicking (file list) the public_html entry? FileZilla will then navigate into it. Your website files must go into that directory.
